In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Sinlaku, many government employees continue to face significant challenges as they work to restore normalcy in their homes and communities. While government operations remain critical to our collective recovery, it has become increasingly clear that a large number of employees continue to experience prolonged disruptions to essential services-most notably, reliable access to water.
In recognition of these continued challenges, and to support employees as they manage essential personal recovery efforts, I am hereby authorizing an extension of Administrative Leave for non-essential employees of the Commonwealth Government’s Executive Branch until Wednesday, Mav 6th, 2026.
This extension is issued in acknowledgment of the realities faced by our workforce and in appreciation of their resilience and dedication during this challenging time. We remain committed to supporting our employees as they care for their families, rebuild their homes, and contribute to the recovery of our Commonwealth.
